"The Hewletts" or "Hewlett" includes the villages of Hewlett Bay Park, Hewlett Harbor and Hewlett Neck, along with Woodsburgh. All the communities within Hewlett are part of the Hewlett-Woodmere School District or the Lynbrook Union Free School District.

 East Rockaway is a village in the town of North Hempstead and part of Nassau County, New York.. The population is around 10,000. Nearby areas include Lynbrook, Hewlett and Oceanside. There is a large Jewish community in the Waverly Park neighborhood, near the Hewlett-East Rockaway Jewish Center and along the border with Hewlett.

Originally named Near Rockaway, the village began as a shipping and trading center for the south shore of Long Island because of the deep channels inland.

Currently there are two elementary schools serving grades K-6 in the East Rockaway school district, and one Junior/Senior high school educating grades 7-12. Located in East Rockaway is also St. Raymonds Catholic school consisting of pre-k through 8th grade.

Woodmere Real Estate and Woodmere Homes for Sale

 Woodmere is also part of the Five Towns.  Woodmere is a hamlet in Nassau County, New York.  The population is around 16,000.   Most of the community is in the Hewlett-Woodmere School District .  The rest of the community is in the Lawrence Public School District. 

Also located in Woodmere is the Hebrew Academy of Long Beach High School, known as the Davis Renov Stahler Yeshiva High School for Boys.  Lawrence Woodmere Academy is a pre-kindergarten through grade 12 coeducational preparatory school.

Cedarhurst Real Estate and Cedarhurst Homes for Sale

Cedarhurst is also part of the Five Towns and is located on the South Shore of Long Island, New York.  Cedarhurst is a village in the Town of North Hempstead in Nassau County, NY.  The village is named after a grove of trees that once stood at the post office.  The population is around 6000.  

Central Avenue, the area's main business district, was for many years considered like the Rodeo Drive of Long Island, offering upscale shops and boutiques. With the growth of the local Orthodox Jewish community, many stores and restaurants now cater to the needs of this community.  Many of the street's businesses are closed on Saturday, because many do not shop on the Jewish Sabbath.

Cedarhurst is part of School District 15 and is served by the Lawrence Public Schools. Lawrence High School as well as the #5 Elementary School, which serve students from a number of surrounding communities, are located in Cedarhurst.
